Introducing Cilla Raie – MASTERPIECE

In a swarm of emerging artists, you will find a strong-minded, confident woman, who can seamlessly swap genres, Cilla Raie is not your average singer/songwriter. Her love for music was sparked by R&B artists Aaliyah, Brandy, Toni Braxton and Destiny’s Child, all of which she credits as key inspirations for her music today.

Raised in North London and hailing from a musical family, it didn’t take long for her to pick up a pen and paper and start writing songs at the age of 14. Cilla took to the Internet posting music online, gaining the attention of English grime record producer DaVinche (Wiley, Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32), under his guidance he began mentoring her.

Cilla continued to make progress, with her songwriting skills opening the doors for her to regularly working with industry professionals. Including producers KZ, The Arcade, Joey Dyer, Skripture, Patrick Patrikos Jester, Sillkey, Rymez, The Writers Block, Fred Cox, The Fives, Z Dot, Tre Jean Marie, Adam Midgley and many more.
Whilst writing and recording demos in some of London’s top studios such as, Notting Hills Sarm Studios, EMI studios, F Block Studios, Chocolate Factory.

Having signed to R.O.A.D Entertainment in 2012 (label imprint headed by Teriy Keys- former signee of Dizzee Rascal and Dirtee Stank). In 2014, Cilla released her first self-titled debut EP co-produced by The Arcade (Iggy Azalea – Fancy), Joey Dyer (Conor Maynard, Katy B) and Sillkey (Wiley – Can You Hear Me). With support from Singersroom, The A&R Report Show and R&Bxclusives.

Fast forward to the present day, Cilla is embarking on a 20-day School Tour with UK Music. 2016 is the year of progression for her as a coming-of-age year in which she is set to release her 2nd EP (co-produced by DJ Walter Ego, Joey Dyer, Delirious Productions and Jay Jay Musika), she is due to continue on the live circuit in London and promote her forthcoming single.
