Candice Glover – ‘Kissing Game’

American Idol Winner (Season 12) – Debut album ‘Music Speaks’ is now available on iTunes!

When the world first saw Candice Glover on January 16, 2013, they had no idea she would capture their hearts and touch their souls. The whole season she exuded growth, artistry, and confidence. But she wasn’t always that way. Growing up on the small island of St. Helena, Candice was shy as a child. She played with her peers but was to herself most of the time. She was so shy, she even sang for her parents underneath their bedroom door for some time. Her first time singing in front of anyone was at church, where she performed Alabaster Box by the incomparable Cece Winans. The rest was simply history. Candice performed in school plays, talent shows and even won the Beaufort Idol competition. She auditioned for the REAL American Idol three times before actually making it onto the live shows. Why did they EVER let her in? Candice came with a grand slam of performances each and every week, and never seemed to the let the stress of the competition get to her. Finally, on May 16, Candice Glover won the 12th season of American Idol. She has performed at the Capitol three times. She has performed at the White House (by special request of Michelle Obama herself) opening for Ariana Grande, she has performed in Europe, at the staples center alongside Jill Scott and more. If that’s not enough, Candice has performed with the legendary Patti Labelle (who cries every time she listens to Candice’s single) and has a role in an upcoming movie on the Hallmark Channel starring Tiffani Amber Theissen called Northpole. We see longevity in Candice’s career and will continue to support her the way Beaufort did during her run on American Idol!!!!
