K.Michelle Debuts ‘V.S.O.P.’ Single

Check out the premiere of K. Michelle new song “V.S.O.P.”, The track will serve as the first official single off her upcoming debut Rebellious Soul. The “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star compares her love to a fine liquor (Very Special Old Pale Cognac). Rebellious Soul is to be released this year on Atlantic Records.

Svenska elektropopduon Icona Pop har nu sålt Platina av singeln ”I Love It” (Record Company Ten /Atlantic) i USA och ligger samtidigt på plats 9 på Billboard Hot 100, världens mest prestigefyllda topplista. Det är inte många svenska artister som tidigare sålt Platina i USA (enligt RIAA är det bara Avicii och Swedish House Mafia), vilket motsvarar över 1.000.000 sålda ex.

Rihanna ställer in konsert i Houston

Rihanna har ställt in ännu en show på hennes Diamonds turné på grund av “okänd” sjukdom. Hon gav inte ett särskilt skäl den här gången om vad som var fel, men Rihanna säger att hon följde läkarens råd att avbryta henne Houston spelning. Riri sågs av paparazzi när hon lämnade en vårdcentral i Los Angeles igår efter att hon avbröt en show som hon skulle utföra i Houston, Texas på måndag kväll.

“I was sick since San Diego!” Rihanna wrote on Twitter. “I kept working because I thought two days off after the Vegas show would be enough time to recover and I f****d up, those were two days off from hell and today is not different!”.

Ne-Yo and Cher Lloyd join forces with Fruttare

Ne-Yo and Cher Lloyd have teamed up to help support the US launch of Fruttare Fruit Bars this Spring. The singers will look to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram submissions by fans sharing what ‘It’s All Good’ means to them when writing an original song about a positive outlook on life. Ne-Yo says, ‘I always try to look on the bright side of things, so it’s cool to have the opportunity to bring that philosophy to life in a new song. I’m excited to work with Fruttare and Cher to let our fans inspire the songwriting process.’ The product line includes Fruttare Fruit and Juice Bars, along with two types of frozen fruit bars, Fruttare Fruit and Milk Bars. PSY to Release New Single “Gentleman”

The end of the world never happened, but PSY’s “Gangnam Style” took over the globe last year. Well, in less than two weeks the K-pop artist will be trying to keep things rolling with is brand new single “Gentleman.”
Reported a few weeks ago, the performer needed to tweak this single. He had previously titled it “Assarabia” or “Assaravia.” In his native language it simply describes a feeling of a “thrill.” But its been reported that PSY was worried it’d offend Arabic peoples. Well, now that the new single has finally beeen tweaked it will be officially released April 12 and then broadcasted live on YouTube when he performs it at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Lucy Spraggan signs with Columbia Records

The X Factor 2012 contestant Lucy Spraggan has signed a recording contract with Columbia Records. Lucy, who won over audiences and the judges with her self-penned songs, comments, ‘I’m really excited to be working with Columbia, it is such a respected label with an incredible heritage. To be signed to the company who have worked with great icons like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen and the newer generation of artists like Calvin Harris and Rita Ora is amazing – I can’t wait!’ Her debut album is slated for release later this year and she embarks on her UK tour in April.

Freddie Ljungberg signs to Insanity

Football star Freddie Ljungberg has appointed Laura Slater at Insanity for commercial and PR management. The former Sweden captain and Arsenal player has modelled for Calvin Klein and represented brands including Nike, Pepsi and L’Oréal. Insanity CEO Andy Varley says, ‘We are looking forward to working with Freddie to develop his global brand deck and publicity. He is an exceptional athlete with a proven track record of successfully delivering international campaigns.’

Jay-Z’s Life+Times has premiered their new series “The Genesis” where they will walk with French Montana as he tells his come up story. He explains that he was put in this country with no family, and he’s built one with the “Coke Boys” movement. Excuse My French drops May 21st.

Rihanna Injured after Bottle Attack

She was departing a club called The Box when someone threw a bottle of Lucozade (a UK energy drink) in her direction. The bottle itself didn’t connect, fortunately. Rihanna scraped her knee during the commotion, however, when she looked to hasten her getaway from the scene and brushed up against a metal grate. Her boyfriend(s) know a thing or two about flying bottles. Speaking of, it was an interesting week for Rihanna and Chris Brown, to say the least. After their Grammy Awards love-fest, they appeared to be back on and stronger than ever.
